The nearest COVID-19 test site for southwest Manitobans is in Brandon.

Dauphin and Swan River are continuing to offer COVID-19 testing, just in new locations, as Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) is shifts its testing sites from Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) service centres to new locations.

As of June 3, Dauphin’s new site for testing will be in the parking lot of the Dauphin Community Health Services Building at 625 Third St. SW. Watch for signage. The hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Swan River’s testing site will be located in the parking lot of the Swan Valley Primary Care Centre at 1000 Main Street. Watch for signage, operating from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday to Friday.

PMH thanks MPI for the cooperation and generosity they provided as the region utilized their drive-through sites for the last two months.

Brandon’s designated testing site location remains the same at Brandon Town Centre, within the parkade, accessible off the corner of 8th St. and Princess Ave. Watch for signage.

Testing is available there from Monday to Saturday from 8:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m.; closed for lunch 12-12:30 p.m.
