In the last moments of the setting sun it was a blinding drive heading southwest on Commonwealth Dr. toward the lights on the TransCanada Hwy. You simply could not see.

Sometime in those moments a small car rear-ended a pick-up truck.

“There were no serious injuries other than minor aches and pains due to the collision, and the fact that seatbelts were in use and speeds involved were not highway speeds,” said S. Sgt Joe Frizzley of Westman RCMP.

“No charges under the Highway Traffic Act are expected due to environmental factors, MPI will assess the fault in this case,” he said.
