Kenton by Paulette Wiens

The Harding 4H Horse Club held their Communication Evening in the Kenton School on Tuesday evening. The club organized in September 2018 with Pam Lowe Bond and Charlene Mathison as club leaders, Leah Obach as main lesson instructor, and 11 members who all participated in public speaking or visual presentations. Everyone did a great job!

In intermediate public speaking, Danika Smith placed first and Rudy Bond second. In junior public speaking, Hudson Bond placed first and Boden Bond placed second.

Avery Routledge did an interesting Cloverbud Visual Presentation and Gracie Johnston also did a very interesting presentation in the junior visual.

Judges for the evening were Candice Tolton and Rilla Hunter. They presented their comments and encouraged all members to present their speeches and visuals again in school classes or wherever there were opportunities. All the subjects were very interesting and well done. Winners will go on to the Area Communications.

Bill Gray has passed away. Deepest Sympathy from the community to Cindy (Gray) and Ken Routledge and family; Dallas and Judy Gray and family on the loss of their father; and to all the extended families.
