According to an online poll conducted last week by the Virden Empire-Advance, the percentage of respondents looking forward to Virden’s new cannabis outlet (37 per cent) is slightly higher than those who have concerns (30 per cent) and those who don’t care either way (33 per cent).
In related news, the renovations to the former Keystone Wealth offices on Nelson St. West were slated to begin this week to convert it into Cannabis 204.
Virden’s first legal cannabis store is expected to open for business next month, according to the Winnipeg owners.
