Cold Hard Cash to play in Reston

 Reston Memorial Theatre is pleased to present Cold Hard Cash on Saturday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m. as a theatre fundraiser.

  Since 2011, Cold Hard Cash has been entertaining audiences with their energetic and soul-capturing tribute to Johnny Cash. Different eras are brought to life with the band’s sharp formal dress changing alongside the many distinct styles of Cash’s music. The attention to detail also comes out in the sensitive ear put toward capturing the unique sound. Providing a complete entertainment experience, Cold Hard Cash focuses on drawing the audience in with witty humour and dynamic stage presence. It is a show that appeals to the young and old alike. From people foot stomping in their seats to tearing up the dance floor, Cold Hard Cash prides itself on the diversity of its music and fans.

  Cold Hard Cash is currently filling theatres, playing large music festivals, and performing across Canada. The band has shared the stage with renowned acts such as the Statler Brothers, Loverboy, and Prism at venues such as the Morden Corn and Apple Festival, Winkler Harvest Festival and Red River Exhibition in Winnipeg. Their acclaimed self-titled album released under twelve-time Juno nominated producer Dan Donahue is a favourite to many. Cold Hard Cash continues to astonish audiences with their polished and progressive show by establishing their unique approach to the complete tribute band experience.
  Curtis Cash, lead vocalist, is from Winnipeg, and has been perfoming for over 10 years with different music venues. Neal Scheller, bass player, is from east St. Paul, Manitoba. Neal also performs back up vocals. Bob Cruden, lead guitar, is from Winnipeg and Joel Kulik, drummer and backing vocals, is from Winnipeg as well.

   “We are Cold Hard Cash and we provide you with the complete tribute to Johnny Cash. We take you back to the early 50's when Johnny walked into Sun Records Studios, and take you decade by decade as you relive those awesome memories. We even touch on some of the hits from the American Recording Albums,” explained Curtis Cash. “This is a true tribute, and a very professional and energetic show.
