A traffic stop in Souris in the early hours of Sunday, April 26, led to the arrest of two young men from Virden and a man from Brandon.

At 4:25 a.m. RCMP officers stopped a car in Souris. They searched the vehicle and seized 154.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, brass knuckles and other drug paraphernalia.

Riley Yates, 20-year-old from Virden, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Weapons Possession Contrary to a Court Order. He was released for court scheduled July 9, 2020, in Brandon, Manitoba.

Michael McCulloch, 22-year-old from Brandon, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Fail to Comply with a Release Order Condition. He was released for court scheduled July 9, 2020, in Brandon, Manitoba.

An 18-year-old, from Virden, will appear in court on August 13, 2020, in Brandon on a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
