Glenboro pair arrested for B&E

Blue Hills RCMP make arrests in break and enter investigation

On Feb. 4, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Blue Hills RCMP received a report of a break-in at a business in the RM of Glenboro-South Cypress, Manitoba. A variety of items were stolen.

Blue Hills RCMP officers investigated, and on Feb. 9, with the assistance of Turtle Mountain RCMP, the West District RCMP Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team and RCMP Police Dog Services, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Glenboro, Manitoba.

Mandie Margaret Alice Meyers, 33, was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering a Business with Intent, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Unsafe Storage of Firearms x2, Fraud Over $5000, Theft of Motor Vehicle, and Possession of MDMA.

Mervin Delorme, 43, of Glenboro, was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Possession of Firearm While Unauthorized, Theft Over $5000, Theft Under $5000, Unsafe Storage of Firearms x2, Breach of Release Order x2, and Possession of MDMA.

Delorme remains in custody. Meyers was released until a court appearance.

Many of the stolen items were recovered.
