Recent rains have greened the Oak Lake municipal golf course. Wending through interesting natural terrain there are hills and straight ahead holes as well. The nine-hole course has mature landscaping trees on the flat, while oak trees and sandhills add interest.
You'll find par 3 and par 4 holes on this course, handily located on the east side of the town of Oak Lake. It's not far from the TransCanada Highway and on Thursday, June 24 two afternoon golfers, one from Ericksdale and another from Brandon, stopped for a quick round.
