“The Elkhorn Agriculture Society is thrilled and overwhelmed with the support from Tundra Oil & Gas,” says Terri Frattinger on behalf of the Society.
Elkhorn Ag Society has been working hard over the last few years to make improvements to the grounds. The vision of the community, put forth in 2014, was to construct a building that would include a new kitchen and wheelchair-accessible washrooms.
This summer Jason Lewis, Surface Land Representative of Tundra Oil & Gas, through the Richardson Foundation Inc., presented Elkhorn Ag Society with a donation in the amount of $60,000.
“We are very excited about this as it has brought our building fund to $80,000 which is approximately halfway to our goal,” says Frattinger.
“We will continue to apply for grants and fundraise until we reach that goal. This donation from Tundra Oil & Gas has transformed our hope into a reality!”
