Re: Stoking a vision to renovate Virden
This has already been done. In October 2017, a 63-page report was published called Renewing Virden Main Street Boost Report. This report was large in scope and content. The National Trust of Canada was involved as well as many participants ranging from school students to seniors.
“Students were given roles as planners, urban design and community developers. The students zeroed in on ideas that reflected their perspectives and hope.” (pg. 5)
