Find the artists! Erica Lowe (l) blends into the scaffolding and wall mural she is painting, while her mother, Mary Lowe, smiling for the camera, is more visible. On July 8, These Kenton artists are painting the mural on the west wall of Hamiota Arts Centre. The Lowes began their work in late June and Mary expects the painting to be completed by July 20, the date of Hamiota’s fair and their Canada 150 celebration. The project is a collaborative venture between the Hamiota Community Foundation, the Heritage Arts Centre and the Community Foundations of Canada.
