Princess Lodge By Bernice Graham

The children from the Funshine Daycare Centre No. 2, along with their caregivers, walked to the Lodge and visited with our seniors in the lounge, on Tuesday morning.

They livened up the place with their bright, little cheery smiles as they gave us valentine cards they had made.

We are all looking forward to the warmer weather so we can cautiously venture outdoors without the icy and slippery conditions.

Kenton By Paulette Wiens

The Woodworth Senior Services Social Club resumed Jan. 7 at the Kenton Memorial Hall and will continue every Tuesday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. until mid-April. Please watch for posters for special programs at the Social Club.

January Birthdays were celebrated at the Social Club on Jan. 14.

The regular foot clinic was held Feb. 7 at the WSS office. The foot clinic is held every six weeks. If you are interested, please call the WSS office.

Woodworth Senior Services hosted the Valentine dinner on Feb. 13 at Noon in Kenton Memorial Hall. WSS was assisted by the Ladies Auxiliary, the Kenton and Area Lions Club, Harding Community members and other community members. It was a full course meal of roast beef and pork with all the trimmings. Dessert was cake with fruit topping. The dinner was for all Seniors 55+ and also for former residents of the area. The attendance of 40 was wonderful considering there was an extreme cold warning for the area. Submitted by Karen Anderson WSS Coordinator
