Westman Area RCMP members executed a CDSA warrant on a residence in Melita on Jul 28. As a result of the search, one and a half pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 56 grams of medical grade shatter, 5five ounces of marihuana, a small amount of cocaine, a small amount of hash, a firearm, and Canadian currency were seized.
38 year-old Richard Underwood of Melita, Manitoba has been charged with the following nine offences; possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marijuhuana for the purpose of trafficking; possession of cocaine; possession of hash; unlawful storage of a firearm; forcible confinement; assault; uttering threats; and failing to comply with a probation order.
Underwood was remanded into custody.
