Border Regional Library in Virden was humming last Saturday as 15 participants attended a memoir-writing and genealogy workshop led by three members of the Manitoba Genealogy Society, Southwest Branch.
In the morning session, pictured, attendees were given writing prompts that sparked personal memories and got the creative juices flowing. In the afternoon, they learned about resources available to them both online and offline to trace their family trees.
