Brenda Stowe of the Miniota Post Office is presenting Fire Chief of Miniota Nick Young with a plaque honouring emergency responders. This Fire Department has a total of 22 firefighters of which seven are also EMT. Miniota is currently building a new Fire Hall in their community. Canada Post unveiled stamps honouring Firefighters, Paramedics, Police, Canadian Armed Forces and Search and Rescue Experts. Plaques of each were made available for offices to present to their local responders thanking them for their service to communities.
