Moving snow from downtown streets

The south wind has brought balmy weather, Tuesday, Jan. 21, which happens to coincide with the Town of Virden’s snow clearing – removing the buildup on Virden’s downtown streets.

The south wind has brought balmy weather, Tuesday, Jan. 21, which happens to coincide with the Town of Virden’s snow clearing – removing the buildup on Virden’s downtown streets. With a few hours of inconvenience for traffic and parking, the result will be much better streets to drive and walk on. After a bitterly cold week last week, temperatures this week are expected to reach just a few degrees below freezing.
