Plans that were discussed with Councils of Virden and the Rm of Wallace-Woodworth included renewing the intersection of the TransCanada and Virden’s King Street. Ever since mid-July construction crews have been working on the TransCanada at Virden. On Sept. 8 new curbing was in place, but the intersection was in an upheaval with ongoing work to improve the turn lanes.

Ultimately, it will be smooth pavement as the work carries on down King Street, but there’s pain to go through until then, as construction proceeds.
