Congratulations are in order for Justin Gabrielle and Jackie Goodchild, the proud parents of Virden area New Year’s baby.
Arriving in the afternoon of Jan. 2, 2019, at 12:52 p.m., Blake Margaret Gabrielle weighed in at eight pounds, six ounces and measured 21, 1/4 inches.
Mom Jackie says, “We are very excited and are completely in love with her!”
She has hazel eyes and “the longest eyelashes”. Not surprising, her parents affectionately call this little one “sweet face” and “sweet girl”.
Virden’s New Year’s baby was delivered at the Women’s Hospital at Winnipeg Health Science Centre. “The day of her birth was very cold, we had a scheduled C-section so the morning was very calm and relaxed,” says Goodchild, who also admits to just a bit of nervousness.
Baby Blake has continued to be “a very calm and relaxed, perfect little girl,” says her mum.
She is the family’s second child and little sister to Cooper Gabrielle.
