In the event of a postal strike, possibly as early as Sept. 26, subscribers to the Empire-Advance need not go without their newspapers. WE HAVE A PLAN.
If you receive your Empire-Advance through Canada Post, you will be able to pick up your copy at our office in Virden during office hours - between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
The Empire-Advance will also be available to subscribers for pickup in two Virden locations for your convenience: in dispensary boxes at Valleyview Co-op or at Flower Attic & Gifts.
Subscriptions will also be extended as we make every effort to bring you good service. We appreciate you – our community - your loyalty and patience through-out the hiccups regarding timely delivery.
