Reeve Archie McPherson is continuing uncontested, but ratepayers in Ward 2 and 3 of the RM of Pipestone need to vote for councillors on Oct. 24.
One LUD position has a vacancy.
The municipality includes the communities of Reston, Pipestone, Cromer, and Sinclair, governed by a reeve and six councillors with the office located in Reston.
Sean Kirkpatrick was appointed by Council to fill a vacant position in Ward 6 after the 2014 election. He is now running for Ward 3.
Lane Wanless previously served six years on Council for Ward 1 in Reston, 2008 – 2014. He is now uncontested to represent Ward 6.
Wards 1, 4 and 5 continue unchanged.
Ward 2: Amanda Isaac goes against incumbent Garnet Williamson.
Ward 3: Sean Kirkpatrick moves from Ward 6 to contest Ward 3 rep, Gary Nicholson.
Ward 6: Lane Wanless is the sole candidate.
For Reston LUD committee,Barb Schiltroth continues and Terri Williamson is stepping down leaving a vacancy.
