Along with having a good time on Virden's Wellview Golf course this fall, Virden Oilmen's Golf Tournament raised some money for local charities and for Wellview Golf Club. The Oilmen’s committee members presented donations to nine non-profit groups: Kelchris, One At A Time Rescue, Wallace District Fire Department, Virden & Area Palliative Care Unit were all recipients.
The Committee also presented a $15,000 cheque to Wellview Golf Course.
