During the week of July 1 - 8, the Westman RCMP dealt with 92 police activities, including the following incidents:
July 3 - A report of vandalism in the Kenton area. A business had garbage cans dumped out and items thrown around.
July 6 - At approximately 3:30 p.m. police responded to an assault call that occurred between two individuals who had been travelling along Highway #1 near Virden. A 61-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault.
July 6 - RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover near Oak Lake Beach. The vehicle had been reported stolen earlier and the matter is still under investigation.
July 8 - Police received a call that a local business in Virden was broken into and a quantity of tools was stolen. This matter is under investigation and if you have any information in regards to this investigation you are asked to call the Virden RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
