July 23 - RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a business on Sixth Avenue in Virden. Locks were cut on the business and the matter is still under investigation.

 

July 24 - RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle in Virden. An investigation was conducted and the suspect was identified. A 25-year-old woman was arrested and has been held in custody to face charges.

 

July 24 - RCMP received a report of an attempted break and enter to a business on Ashburton Street in Virden. The door was damaged, but entry was not made.

 

July 25 - RCMP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway #1 in the RM of Sifton. The adult male driver from Virden was found to be disqualified from driving and as a result had his vehicle seized and is facing speeding and driving while disqualified charges.

 

July 28 - RCMP received a report that several counterfeit $50 Canadian bills were passed in the RM of Sifton. The bills have blue Chinese writing on them.

 

July 28 - RCMP arrested an intoxicated female in Reston after it was deemed she was too intoxicated to care for herself and was causing problems at a local business.

 

July 28 - RCMP conducted a vehicle stop in Sioux Valley Dakota Nation and found the female driver to be disqualified from driving. Her vehicle was seized and she is now facing a charge of driving while disqualified.
