Legions throughout the nation will be hosting Remembrance Day services on Sunday morning.
Virden’s Legion Br. No. 8 featured speaker will be Bombardier Michael Webster. He belongs to the First Regiment RCA Horse Artillary.
For Br. No. 8, Sgt. At Arms Kelvon Smith advised that some 30 members of the regiment are expected to attend as well.
Padre Matt Koovisk will be conducting the memorial service in the Aud Theatre. With the service beginning at 10:30. People are asked to be seated by 10:25 a.m.
It is usually a full house; in honour of the 100th anniversary of WWI armistice, a large crowd is anticipated.
