I live in Kola, Manitoba, with my wife Diane and I have been in the construction business and a General Contractor for more than 45 years, with extensive experience in commercial building and road construction.
I have also been a grain and livestock farmer and continue to own land in the RM.
I have served in many capacities over the years - Virden and District Airport Commission, Virden and District Flying Club, on the executive of the Brandon Flying Club and as a member and delegate of the Virden-Arthur PC riding association.
I believe that I can use this experience, in the role of councillor, to effectively be part of the council and help with the decision-making process for the ratepayers in the RM.
We must work with business and government to effectively use our water system, agriculture and oil field resources, roads and our wide variety of people which we have in our area to build a stronger municipality.
We must continue to improve, increase and maintain our infrastructure to attract more business to our RM to expand the tax base which should benefit all of us.
Let’s make Wallace-Woodworth a place that’s attractive to small and big businesses alike and continue to make this a great place to live, work and to raise your family, now and for future generations.
I ask for your vote on October 24, to work on your behalf.
