I’m a wife, a mother (x4), a (very young) grandmother and someone who wants to make a difference in building a more progressive, economically, strong municipality that will continue to grow and attract new families to our area.
To do this we need a strong council team with a unified vision for the future. I would like to be a part of that team! I am seeking re-election in Ward 2 of the RM of Wallace- Woodworth, where I have diligently and gratefully served for the past eight years with my strong voice at the table.
I have worked with Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation for 25 years. This job takes me to the far reaches of our large municipality, down every road and turkey trail. It also allows me to meet and voice the concerns of ratepayers living all over the entire municipality.
I envision my role on council as finding a balance between providing services that we need and holding the line on taxes, promoting investment and job creation so that there continues to be opportunities in our area and encouraging a diversification of our tax base.
