Shanda Rolfe has recently taken on the role as Manager of Sunrise Credit Union, Virden branch, bringing her own progressive vision to Sunrise.

Rolfe knows the southwest Manitoba area, “After making a move from Boissevain, our family has called the Virden area home for 15 years.”
Her formal education is through the University of Manitoba, and she has continued to learn through earlier employment which includes Boissevain Credit Union, and in Virden, her work with human resources and business.
Rolfe started with Sunrise on Jan. 4, 2021, and was formerly employed with Valleyview Co-op within their corporate office as Credit and Equity Specialist. The opportunity with Sunrise was a step that she says was a good fit.
“My family and I have laid a foundation in the community through school, sports and volunteering. I've had the privilege of building connections in the agricultural and oil sectors and with the people who call this area home,” says Rolfe. “I'm passionate about giving back to our communities through local focus. I am excited to work with the robust and familiar organization that has served our area for generations.”
