During the week of April 13 of April 20, the Westman RCMP dealt with 55 police activities.

April 16 - RCMP were called for a report of uttering threats in Virden. It was reported that an individual was threatened by another through social media. The matter is still under investigation.

April 17 - RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Sioux Valley for a report of a window being broken. Upon attending, it was learned that a male had purposefully broken a window of a residence. He was located and arrested. A 32-year-old male from Sioux Valley is facing charges of mischief and failing to comply with an undertaking.

April 18 - RCMP were called to Sioux Valley for a report of mischief to a vehicle. A tire was slashed and lug nuts loosened. The matter is still under investigation.

April 19 - RCMP were called to a rural property in the RM of Two Borders for a report of assault. Upon investigating, it was learned that an argument started in relation to property. No injuries were reported or observed and no charges will be sought.

April 20 - RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Sioux Valley for a report of assault with a weapon. It was reported that a youth was wielding a machete, and several persons were in advertently injured while trying to take it away from them. Upon attendance, all parties involved declined to cooperate with the investigation and declined to proceed towards charges.
