Stolen trailer located in Wallace-Woodworth

During the week of Jan. 18th to Jan. 24th, the Westman RCMP dealt with 56 police activities. Dispatches included: Jan. 18 – The RM of Ellice-Archie for a report of an attempted truck theft.

During the week of Jan. 18th to Jan. 24th, the Westman RCMP dealt with 56 police activities.

Dispatches included:

Jan. 18 – The RM of Ellice-Archie for a report of an attempted truck theft. The suspects were possibly travelling in a white Toyota corolla that had previously been reported as stolen. The matter is still under investigation.

Jan. 18 - RCMP located an enclosed trailer on a rural property in the RM of Wallace-Woodworth. The trailer had no licence plate and the serial number has been removed. The trailer was seized as it was believed to have been stolen. The trailer has since been identified as stolen from a community in Saskatchewan. The matter is still under investigation.

Jan. 18 – Sioux Valley for a report of an intoxicated person yelling inside a residence. By the time Police attended the subject had left the residence. Subsequent to investigation it was determined no criminal offences had occurred.

Jan. 20 – Sioux Valley for a disturbance inside a residence. Upon police attending, it was determined the intoxicated individual fell asleep and the complainant no longer wanted police assistance.

Jan. 21 – Sioux Valley for a report of an unknown male carrying a machete in the dark. To date, the suspect has yet to be identified and the matter remains under investigation.

Three COVID compliance checks and three wellbeing checks were undertaken during this reporting period.
