August long weekend, Sandra Nash, Andy and Christa Nash attended the wedding of Sandra's grandson, Riley Nash to Clare Berner in Greenwich, Connecticut, U.S.

Mae and Trudy Watters traveled to Swift Current, Aug. 10 - 13 for Western Canada Summer Games, where Mae's great-granddaughter, Emily Watters, played 16 & U softball for team Alberta. Emily then went on to Calgary where she played with the Calgary Karzen team in the Canadian National 16 & U softball championships.

Recent visitors with Bill Walker were Andrew Walker from Winnipeg, Melanie, Jarred and Asher Crichton from Lorette, Man.

Janet and Larry Walker hosted a baby shower in the backyard for their new great-grandson, Asher Crichton, son of Melanie (Walker) and Jarrid Crichton on Sunday, August 18.

"Summer is the time of year when it is too hot to do the things it was to cold to do in the winter!"
