Tundra Oil & Gas presented several donations on Feb. 14, as part of its 2018 Virden office United Way campaign.
Tundra’s Winnipeg, Calgary, and Virden offices each run an annual internal United Way fundraising campaign, and funds raised from staff donations are matched by its shareholder, James Richardson & Sons, Ltd.
Tundra recognizes the importance of giving back to the communities in which it operates and is pleased to present these charities the opportunity to continue to grow.
It is important to note that the United Way in Manitoba has no overhead costs, which means every dollar collected during Tundra’s campaign goes directly to the charities chosen by the committee.
Since 2010, Tundra Oil & Gas and staff have proudly donated $193,984 to a variety of deserving local groups and charities including local daycare centers, school divisions, agriculture societies, area foundations, service clubs, health auxiliaries and cancer societies.
