Oct. 31 was Halloween, awards day, and assembly all rolled into one exciting gathering in the gym for students and staff at Virden Junior High.
Four different awards were presented: citizenship (an outstanding person), academic excellence (doing well academically), academic improvement (shows increased proficiency) and the principal’s award (student or staff who contribute to positive climate of the school).
