Sympathy is extended to the Larry Walker family on the passing of Larry’s cousin Allan Heaman of Winnipeg on Dec. 4.

Approximately 40 people enjoyed a bountiful potluck supper at the Miniota Community Centre. At the event hosted by the MMSS (Miniota Seniors Services) group, two hampers were won as door prizes, and one was donated to White Gift Service. Several other prizes were won as part of the evening. Pins of a Santa face were handed out to all in attendance. With Christmas approaching, the jolly man himself also made an appearance.
Sympathy goes out to Blair Kidd and to Judy Rowan Kidd on the passing of Blair’s mother in Ontario.
Visitors over the weekend with Hollis Stewart in Birtle Health Centre were Edith Edmundson of Shoal Lake, Shirley Strachan, Sandra Nash and Linda Clark, all of Miniota, and her family, Neil Stewart, Shelly Gardham, and Renee Armitage.
