Another busy weekend at the Miniota Rink, Saturday, Jan. 19 the Pre-Novice team hosted their home tournament that included teams from Tri-Valley, Birtle and Hamiota. Despite the cold temperature the kids had lots of fun.

This weekend was also the mixed bonspiel with Dawn Flannery rink winning first place, Murray Foster rink in second place, Doug Heaman rink in third place, and Todd Brown rink in fourth place.

The Miniota Novice hockey team will play Birtle, Wednesday, Jan. 23 and again on Monday, Jan. 28 against Tri-Valley. Next bonspiel is our Men’s and Ladies’ that will be held February 8-10. Mac Lelond and Loree Gardham are taking entries.
