You can be part of Souris's history...the Heritage Club needs you

The Souris and District Heritage Club is looking for new volunteers to join their Board of Directors. New volunteers are wanted to be part of creating a new vision for The Plum in order to help revitalize the heritage activities and attract more visitors. The main role of the Souris and District Heritage Club Inc. is the preservation and maintenance of The Plum, Souris's oldest remaining public building. The building was constructed just two years after settlement began here in 1881. This unique and historic building is one of the oldest church buildings in western Manitoba and a tangible part of Souris's history and attractions.
