Harold Clinton Henderson of Virden, Manitoba passed away in the Virden Health Center as the sun rose during early hours of the morning on June 7, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife Elise, parents Wes and Nellie and brothers Charles (Gladys), George (Freda) and Percy (Letha).

Harold was born July 22,1928 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan and spent his early years working on the family farm. He married the love of his life, Elise Martel on July 1,1951 and went on to adopt their two children, Randy and Brenda.

Harold held a wide variety of jobs through the years. From Brandon, Manitoba to Grand Forks, British Columbia, he drove trucks, buses and anything else that he could find to keep himself busy, eventually settling in Virden in 1976 where he along with Elise and Randy purchased Randolph's Bakery. After selling the bakery and not ready to retire, they went on to manage the Virden Motel. In semi-retirement, Harold worked for Beaver Lumber where he became part of the furnishings. He could often be found there around coffee time to ensure the boys were all getting their breaks, and to catch up on the daily goings on.

Harold was a very social person. He enjoyed nothing more than taking a long drive around the countryside where you would often find him stopping for supper or coffee along the way.

He is survived by his son Randy, daughter Brenda Volk (Ed), sister Ruby (Doug), grandchildren, Cherie Davey (Peter), Tyler Henderson, Dallas McDougall (Alison), Steven McDougall (Andrea) and Dwayne Volk (Tina), great-grandchildren Mira and Emily Davey, Kylie and Isaiah Henderson, Neeve and Rork McDougall and Tiffany Volk and Teagan Harkness; sister-in-laws, Edna, Simone and Beatrice and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at Carscadden Funeral Chapel on July 22, 2015.
