Adult fiction:

The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas: In 1967, four female scientists worked together to build the world's first time machine. As they are ready to debut their new creation something happens to one of them and the project is put on hold. Fifty years later, Ruby knows that her grandmother was one of the pioneers but no one will tell her anything more.

Adult inspirational:

The Angelic Occurrence, book four in The Angelic Letters series by Henry K. Ripplinger: After many years apart, Henry and Jenny's lives will cross paths again. Henry's oldest son brings home his new girlfriend, Camilla, who resembles Jenny. Even her name is what Jenny would have chosen if she had had a daughter.
