Its owner, an investment manager, scribbles an IOU on a coffee sleeve and attaches his business card to it. She knows that she will never claim it for herself. When Ryan, her childhood crush, appears back in her life, she decides to redeem the IOU, asking for a job for Ryan. The owner agrees, then a new series of IOUs is written between him and Fixie.
