Adult bestsellers:

Enemy Contact by Tom Clancy and Mike Maden: A Jack Ryan Jr. novel. Jack's race to stop an international criminal conspiracy is connected with the fate of an old friend.

The Oracle by Clive Cussler and Robin Burcell: A Sam and Remi Fargo adventure. In 533 A.D. the last Vandal ruler in North Africa consulted an oracle on the best way to defeat the invading Byzantine army. The oracle tells the king that a High Priestess had put a curse on the Vandal Kingdom when a sacred scroll was stolen. It must be returned to its rightful home before the curse will be lifted. But the Kingdom is defeated before the sacred scroll is located. A present day archaeological dig funded by Sam and Remi, uncovers some clues.
