Why join the new fad of working out? It’s time consuming, hard work, and most of all, (let’s face it) it’s hard to look cute sweaty.
What most people don’t realize about going to the gym is that it actually lifts your mood. After a workout you will literally feel awesome! Although working out is considered a fad, and I am usually not one to tell people to join fads, this is one I think everyone should jump aboard. There are a ton of great reasons to fall in love with going to the gym. You might be asking yourself, why do people go to the gym and train their butts off? What is it that motivates people to go to the gym? This is something that changes your life. It doesn’t have to be a fad if you stick to it. Don’t work out to be skinny, workout to be healthy; to be the best version of you. Do it for yourself! Once you start seeing the results and noticing the difference in your life, you will be hooked. The pounds start coming off, life is easier with less weight, you have more muscle, way more confi dence, and best of all you feel amazing. The gym might seem like a tedious “job”, but ultimately results don’t happen overnight. Results take a lot of hard work and they have to be earned.
Don’t like the word gym? Lucky for you I am using the word “gym” loosely. It doesn’t have to be a gym. It can be at home - a walk, run, swim, hike, or bike. Whatever activity you enjoy doing, get out there and do it, don’t let the word gym be an excuse. Whenever you might feel like you can’t make it to the gym because you don’t have time, it’s too hard, or I will later, just think of this:
