It costs money to ski in top resorts around the world, but what if it paid to do the same kind of ski travelling?

A new “Epic Dream Job” is open to applicants right now thanks to Ski.com, who are looking to hire someone who wouldn’t mind spending two months flying around the world to ski at numerous spots.

Here are the qualifications:

“The ideal candidate must have a serious desire to travel to some of the most amazing mountain destinations in the United States, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, France and Japan; must be able to ski and/or snowboard and must love après, mingling with locals and documenting new experiences.”

Wait, there is MORE: The person hired will be “decked out in head-to-toe gear from Helly Hansen, Rossignol and Oakley®; capture enviable content with video equipment from GoPro; have a direct line to custom snow forecasts from OpenSnow, and collect a paycheck of US$10,000.”

Gee, skiers and boarders, doesn’t that sound AWFUL?

The gig is also a promo for The Epic Pass, which is Vail Resorts’ unified access portal to their ski venues in places all over North America, including Colorado, California, Utah, and right here in B.C. at Whistler Blackcomb.

The application period is open now through October 15. To apply, interested job seekers must submit an application video explaining in 60 seconds or less what makes them the perfect candidate. You can apply online or on Instagram (just make sure to get all the right hashtags and accounts tagged).
