Virden U12 Girls Softball Team, Virden Stingers, won provincial B championships in Winnipeg, from Jul. 7-9.
Thirty-three teams attended the championship tournament at the provincial tournament. The Virden Stingers had seven wins with zero losses; coming home with Gold.
Virden Stingers team members are: Natalie Draper, Dominique Lansing, Helen Genaille, Jadyn Hayward, Ava Davidson, Jordan Bradbury, Ava Flannery, Shanna Yaskow, Janelle Martens, Josie Hunter, Peyton Stuart, and Jessie Henry. Coaches are Erin Draper, Darren Bradbury, and Steve Henry.
