After eight years, baseball found its way back to Virden, as the Oilers baseball team concluded their inaugural season on July 13, 2015. For the Oilers, home soil proved to be an advantage during the season.

The Flat Creek Archers held their second annual outdoor 3D shoot Sunday, July 5 in Oak Lake. Bow enthusiasts from across Manitoba and southeast Saskatchewan attended the event. The course consisted of two rounds of 20 targets.
