The seventh annual Oilmen’s Golf Tournament proved to be a great success, with 104 golfers showing their support. The money raised is donated to the golf course to use for improvements.

A very successful weekend was held July 17 to July 19 when the Miniota Community Centre hosted their 24th Annual Shirtsleeve Classic.

Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp was back from Monday July 13 through Thursday July 16 at the Virden Collegiate Institute soccer field and gym. This year there is two new coaches to the Virden area.
