Visitors with Marge Tapp recently were Karen Naumiuk of Winnipeg and Alisha and Zachery Gillies of East St. Paul.

Last Saturday, Sally and Delbert Bowles of Elkhorn visited with Ethel Bowles.

Friday afternoon March 22, the Olesons came to play golden oldies music and lunch was served.

The March birthday party was held on Tuesday starting off with card bingo followed by dessert and tea. March birthdays are Pal Mowez and Alene Welch.

The residents are enjoying the lovely daffodils that Virden Drugs delivered and it brightens the residents who are looking forward to spring weather.

Sympathy from the Miniota community is extended to the families of Phyllis (Sparks) (McConnell) Dawson on her passing on March 18. The funeral was held in the Miniota Hall on March 23. 

Sympathy also goes out to Betty Howard, Ross and Crystal Howard from Miniota and Cindy (Howard) and Mike Shewchuk from Calgary and Terry Howard from Saskatoon in the passing of his wife, Anna (Farquhar). The funeral will take place in Saskatoon on March 29.

Several people from the community attended the play in Hamiota called "There's a Burglar in my Bed!"

Sunday, March 10, Dorthy Argue visited her daughter, Dianne and Wade in Brandon. She also attended her great grandson, Keaten Mckean's second birthday at Cromer on Wednesday, March 13.
