On Thursday, Jul. 8 Piston Ring located on King St. in Virden held their ninth annual customer appreciation barbecue during lunch hour. Piston Ring is an auto and agriculture parts store.
Store Manager Tom Tychynski was kept busy barbecuing approximately 600 barbecued burgers, and 100 hotdogs given out to attending people. Between 400 and 450 people attended the free barbecue.
“Service is the difference. We get it,” said store Sales Manager Marv Endler during the barbecue for the Piston Ring’s loyal customers.
