-Judy Russell (left), president of Lenore Women's Institute, presented a cheque for $1,000 to Marilyn Nugent, Seniors Access to Independent Living (SAIL) chairperson. The $1000 came from the proceeds of Lenore Women's Institute spring supper and was donated to SAIL's kitchen renovation project at Princess Lodge. Nugent said the present kitchen facilities at Princess Lodge are extremely small and SAIL wishes to expend the kitchen. “Renovations are badly needed and hopefully we will be able to start in the fall,” said Nugent.
