If you’re looking to get a glimpse into the seedy underbelly of crime in B.C. then you’ll need to look no further than the work of Kim Bolan of the Vancouver Sun. The finest crime reporter in the province, you should be following @kbolan on Twitter and looking for her stories in Postmedia publications.
Today the Vancouver Sun published a feature written by Kim which has two videos in it, offering insight into the Jonathan Bacon killing outside a Kelowna hotel which we reported on yesterday.
The first video, embedded here, offers a play-by-play of the shooting itself. If I might offer my opinion it shows how incredibly stupid and dangerous these criminals are, and it’s the most effective piece of media I’ve seen that shows that. We have an idea of what happened thanks to Kim and others’ coverage, but this video hammers home the stupidity of it all.
