Church family opens the doors to community on Christmas Day

Virden's Anglican congregation continues to serve a beautiful Christmas meal.

Volunteers from the St. Mary's Anglican Church prepared and served the 12th annual Christmas Day Dinner to approximately 65 people on Dec. 25. The meal, which is open to anyone from the community, consists of turkey and all the trimmings and has become a tradition for the parish. Rev. Fr. Matt Koovisk, the church's Rector, joined in for one final occasion before taking up a new clergy position in British Columbia in early 2024.
