Club West 15s got back in the win column last weekend. Even though the team moved up an age category, the girls managed to play some great matches.
Finishing in the top pool in the tournament, the ladies played Wascana in the semi-finals. Club West defeated them 2-0, 25-17, and 25-23. This put the girls in the final against Saskatchewan’s number 1 team, the CVC Cougars from Regina.
Club West won the first game 25-23, then lost 22-25, which set up an exciting third game. Our girls pulled out the win 19-17.
The girls have the Weyburn 17/18U tourney next weekend and then are off to Provincials.
